Message from the Principal

Greetings, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Byhalia High School!

I look forward to working collaboratively with the staff, students, stakeholders, and the community to take BHS to greater educational heights. I am a graduate of Mississippi State University and Mississippi State Valley University. I have fourteen years of experience in school administration. As i begin my first school year as Principal of BHS, I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives or our children. We will accomplish this by setting high expectations, building strong relationships, and providing a supportive culture and learning environment to ensure that we meet the needs of our students. It is our goal that every child graduate from Byhalia High School prepared to matriculate into college or pursue a successful and fulfilling career.

Here at BHS, we endeavor to embrace the challenges of the future while we cherish and celebrate the traditions of the past. We will be a data-driven school that leverages the power of technology, employs best practice in teaching and learning, and actively pursues innovative techniques that enables all students to experience success at our school.
